The mission of the FBC Women’s ministry is to connect with other women, grow in intimacy with Christ, and to serve others and our community. We strive to fulfill our mission by offering women’s Bible studies, hosting retreats and events, attending conferences, community service projects, and mentoring. We make home visits to our widows and homebound, pray regularly for the women of our church, community, and our staff. Our Women’s Ministry reaches out to women in their times of need through phone calls, visits, delivering meals, or sending cards. We have a Facebook page you can follow for encouragement and upcoming events: FBC Sedalia Women’s Ministry. For more information, contact Darla Lansing, Chairman of Women’s Enrichment Ministry.
Moms Connect Sedalia
This is a gathering of moms from all walks of life that come together to encourage, support, and walk alongside each other through the incredible journey of motherhood. In a quiet and inviting atmosphere, moms enjoy a delicious home cooked meal prepared especially for them. Each gathering includes a topical lesson, small group discussion, Bible insights, and practical ideas to help apply what’s been learned. No matter where a mom is on her mothering journey, she’s welcome at MOMS CONNECT SEDALIA. Join us the second Wednesday of each month (September-May) from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. There is a $10 fee for each gathering to help cover the cost of the meal and supplies. Follow us on our Facebook page “Moms Connect Sedalia.” For more information, contact Tracy Mallard at 660-287-1677 or Darla Lansing at 660-553-0313.
