Jeremiah Greever, DMin

Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church of Sedalia

Jeremiah has been pastoring and counseling for over a decade and has a heart to help people grow in the Word of God. He fully believes that Scripture is the sufficient authority to help any person with any issue in every season of life. He received his DMin in Biblical Counseling and is in the process of certification through ACBC. He is an adjunct professor at Missouri Baptist University, a columnist for The Pathway, serves on the board for the Founders Midwest Conference, and has authored two books, The Biblical Man and The Biblical Woman. He is married to Sadie and together they have three wonderful children—Judah, Noelle, and Elisabeth.

Andrew and his family have been members of FBC since 2021, and he began serving as Youth Pastor in January 2023. He completed two years of training in biblical counseling at FBC and has also earned a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Ministry in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and ACBC Certification. He and his wife, Katie, have four children. Andrea Hansen

Andrea is a wife, mother of four children, and an active member of First Baptist Church. She loves to encourage women in their marriages and interpersonal relationships. Andrea completed two years of biblical counseling training in 2023. She enjoys sharing our need for God, and she wants to help people know Him more and glorify Him.  She believes that when our foundation of truth is God, and we seek Him in His Word for clarification and guidance, we will grow in Christ and discover how good God is. Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:6, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God,” because she has dealt with anxiety personally and found God to be faithful as He has helped her walk through many things.

Michal Herrington

Michal has been a follower of Jesus Christ since He radically changed her life 35 years ago. She has a B.A. in Business Administration, M.A. in Education, and worked for 13 years in higher education before marrying her husband Norris and raising their four children. Her heart’s desire for 30 years has been to become a biblical counselor, and she recently became certified by ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). She joyfully shares what God has done in her life through His Word with women near and far, including those in other states and countries. Michal enjoys reading, gardening, playing bass guitar, watching University of Kentucky basketball, and being with those she loves.

Michal is available in person and via WhatsApp.
